Yoga and hygge (pronounced hooga) is a yoga experience with a difference. Hygge is a Danish concept which ultimately can be described as a feeling of comfort, cosiness and community.
In this once a month yoga class, we will be practising postures for 40-45 minutes focusing on postures that help us relieve stress and worries and ending in a guided relaxation. We will be practising by candle light so postures will be kept simple. We will be burning incense or oils to create a cosy atmosphere. After the class, we will have 15-20 minutes of time to eat a bit of food together. Students are encouraged to bring snacks and treats (bought or homemade are both welcome!) I will also bring some food to share 🙂
Yoga mats, block and belts will be provided but feel free to bring your own.
This class will be held on the second Wednesday of every month.
